Text Box: Text Box: Tax Preparation Help Anyone who needs assistance to file a tax return can go to the Calhoun Gordon County Library on Fridays from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm starting February 13, 2009. The last day to receive assistance in tax preparations is April 3, 2009. For more information, you may contact the library at 706-624-1456. For seniors wishing to file a state return: Seniors 65 years of age and under are eligible to receive $26.00 per person. Seniors ages 65 and older are eligible to receive $52.00 per person. Text Box: Re-Exams It is Annual re-certification time. Each household will be receiving letters requesting current income for your household. Attached to the income request is a questionnaire that your household must complete. Please submit all documentation to the office by the deadline specified in your letter. Partial submissions will not be accepted. Failure to comply with the re-exam process will result in lease termination. Please feel free to contact this office with any questions that you may have regarding the re-certification process.
